Planning Applications to be discussed at the next parish council meeting are listed on the agenda. A hyperlink enables those interested to access relevant documents on the Vale of White Horse planning pages.
Planning Applications are considered by the parish councillors in conjunction with the Longworth Neighbourhood Plan. The parish council are not able to approve planning but can only support or object to the plans. The approval or rejection decision is made by the Vale of White Horse Planning Committee.
The Parish Council are happy to discuss planning with the applicants. It is often helpful if you are able to attend the meeting at which your planning application is considered. Other members of the parish can make comments on any applications that they may be affected by or feel strongly about.
Neighbouring properties are contacted directly by planning and are able to comment on the District Council website but anyone can send comments.
