Planning Applications in Longworth

Planning applications due for discussion at the next Parish Council meeting are listed on the meeting agenda, with hyperlinks provided so residents can easily access the relevant documents on the Vale of White Horse District Council planning portal.

The Parish Council reviews applications in line with the Longworth Neighbourhood Plan. While councillors can offer support or raise objections, they do not have the authority to approve applications—final decisions are made by the Vale of White Horse Planning Committee.

Applicants are welcome to speak with the Parish Council, and it is often beneficial to attend the meeting at which your application is being considered. Parish residents may also comment on any application they feel may affect them or the wider community.

Neighbouring properties are notified directly by the planning authority and can submit comments through the District Council website, but anyone is entitled to provide feedback on a planning application.
