Longworth Neighbourhood Plan

The Longworth Neighbourhood Plan was created by local residents and formally adopted by Vale of the White Horse District Council in October 2016.

Neighbourhood plans are designed to reflect national planning policy while giving communities a direct voice in shaping future development. Our plan supports the Parish Council in responding to planning applications and ensuring that decisions consider both guidance and local priorities.

The policies within the Longworth Neighbourhood Plan focus on protecting the parish’s distinctive rural character and ensuring that any development remains ‘in general conformity’ with the district’s wider planning framework.
