The Neighbourhood Plan
The Longworth Neighbourhood Plan was written by local people and adopted by Vale of the White Horse District Council in October 2016.
Neighbourhood plans take national planning policy and guidance into account as well as the wishes of local people. Our plan helps the parish council to comment on planning applications. Its policies are primarily aimed at protecting the special rural character of the village and parish and are ‘in general conformity’ with the district’s planning policy.
