Winter Grit Bins & Reporting Highways Issues

During icy weather, several roadside grit bins are positioned around the village to help residents treat slippery areas. These bins contain a salt/grit mix for community self-help, and the material can be spread using any suitable tool. Please remember that this supply is strictly for use on public highways and must not be used on private drives or property.

If you come across any road defects or hazards, please report them directly to Oxfordshire County Council via the Fix My Street website. A mobile app is also available, making it easy to submit reports while on the go. Including a photo of the issue is especially helpful.
